need help with a stirling engine

hi there
   i am a student and i have to make a project (for diploma) this term so i chose the stirling engine,anyways here are my questions:
1)are the pistons amd fly wheel(i am talking about small pieces) sold ?or do i have to make them?
2)what is the most suitable gas to use?

There are stirling engine kits available.
The "best" gsa is hydrogen, but the most suitable gas is air.

Hi! i've been working with stirling engines and cycle for some months.

Air will be enough I think, there is no need to use another gas if there are no special requirements for the prototype.

We've got a model of a stirling engine at the moment, I can have a look to the place where we bought it, but i think it was in Germany (I'm from Spain, so it was ok, but if you live in the US i'm sure you will have places to buy it there, ordering it to Germany will not be necessary)
