Evaporation of process water
« on: November 11, 2009, 12:25:07 AM »
     Hello,
Our plant needs to eliminate 4000 gallons of water per day... evaporate or distill
ect.  Would it be possible to set up a small pond behind the building and blow the
water through nozzels to evaporate this much water daily ( except when it rains!)
We get about 22 inches of rain per year here in Tn.
Our process water is low in solids and has disolved salts and metals in it. We are
currently running an evaporator at .14 cents per gallon--- which is too expensive.

This is my first post on this forum --- thanks for any advice,
                                                                                             Mike
